Reify a dedicated nonprofit organization on a mission to invest in creatives and make a positive impact in our communities. We wholeheartedly believe in the incredible power of creativity to promote cultural diversity, inclusion, and vitality. Our goal is to provide financial, emotional, and professional support to creatives from diverse backgrounds while fostering collaboration between minority artists, local businesses, and city initiatives.
When we invest in local creatives, amazing things happen! We get to celebrate and amplify the unique voices, traditions, and stories of underrepresented groups, bringing people closer together and fostering a greater sense of understanding and unity. Plus, by supporting creatives, we give a boost to the local economy, breathe new life into neighborhoods, and help sustain small businesses and creative enterprises. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
But here’s the best part: we’re all about collaboration! We believe that when we bring together minority creatives, local businesses, and city initiatives, magic happens. We’re talking about awesome partnerships, exciting projects, and initiatives that address the specific challenges and dreams of our community. By working together, we create a supportive network where knowledge and resources are shared, and innovation thrives. It’s like a big creative family!
At Reify, we’re all about rolling up our sleeves and providing financial support, professional/creative development programs, networking opportunities, and advocating for our talented creatives. We facilitate safe environments where creatives can truly shine and make a difference. Because when our local creatives succeed, our whole community benefits.
So, join us! Let’s tap into the incredible power of creativity to celebrate diversity, foster collaboration, and drive positive change. Together, we’ll leave a lasting legacy of inspiration and transformation for generations to come. Get ready for an exciting journey of creativity and community!
Heard First is Revolutionizing Music Industry Norms
History has shown us how the lack of equity in certain music business practices and standards hurt the lives of musicians, executives, vocalists, and more.
We believe in freedom, joy, and equity.
Heard First seeks to protect the Creatives we work with by operating at a high standard of financial equity and openness. HF core creatives agree to operate with a unique royalty-sharing model that allows all involved to receive potential financial benefits from projects we create in community. This allows for musicians, engineers, songwriters, vocalists, consultants, and more to gain opportunities and support themselves and their loved ones.
Heard First Helps to Produce HSV's Sound by Developing Original Music and Content
Heard First offers a safe space for artists to receive education, resources, professional development, and collaborative opportunities to develop and showcase noteworthy original music throughout the city and nation.
We believe in the power of collaborative creativity.
We also partner with local videographers, Creatives, brand strategists, musical experts, and more to create social media campaigns, mini-documentaries, and more. Ultimately, we want the world to witness the process of Heard First, its artists, and the progression of North Alabama in a way that impacts people far beyond the 256 area code.
Heard First makes ideas that were once considered abstract and unabtainable for Huntsville, real and concrete.
By connecting minority musical artists with city initiatives and small businesses in Huntsville, Alabama, a powerful ripple effect takes hold. This harmonious collaboration not only bolsters the local economy and boosts tourism but also fosters cultural inclusion.
We believe America's biggest export has always been our culture.
Embracing diverse talent enriches the community, elevates the music scene, and ignites opportunities for economic growth. As Huntsville resonates with the vibrant sounds of these artists, it becomes a beacon of diversity, creativity, and prosperity. Moreover, investing in local creatives helps retain musical talent that was once lost to major nearby cities, creating a thriving ecosystem of artists and securing Huntsville's position as a cultural hub.
