Heard First is Revolutionizing Music Industry Norms
History has shown us how the lack of equity in certain music business practices and standards hurt the lives of musicians, executives, vocalists, and more.
We believe in freedom, joy, and equity.
Heard First seeks to protect the Creatives we work with by operating at a high standard of financial equity and openness. HF core creatives agree to operate with a unique royalty-sharing model that allows all involved to receive potential financial benefits from projects we create in community. This allows for musicians, engineers, songwriters, vocalists, consultants, and more to gain opportunities and support themselves and their loved ones.
Heard First Helps to Produce HSV's Sound by Developing Original Music and Content
Heard First offers a safe space for artists to receive education, resources, professional development, and collaborative opportunities to develop and showcase noteworthy original music throughout the city and nation.
We believe in the power of collaborative creativity.
We also partner with local videographers, Creatives, brand strategists, musical experts, and more to create social media campaigns, mini-documentaries, and more. Ultimately, we want the world to witness the process of Heard First, its artists, and the progression of North Alabama in a way that impacts people far beyond the 256 area code.
Heard First makes ideas that were once considered abstract and unabtainable for Huntsville, real and concrete.
By connecting minority musical artists with city initiatives and small businesses in Huntsville, Alabama, a powerful ripple effect takes hold. This harmonious collaboration not only bolsters the local economy and boosts tourism but also fosters cultural inclusion.
We believe America's biggest export has always been our culture.
Embracing diverse talent enriches the community, elevates the music scene, and ignites opportunities for economic growth. As Huntsville resonates with the vibrant sounds of these artists, it becomes a beacon of diversity, creativity, and prosperity.
